EAME Regional Office Dubai Jobs 2022 Full Job Description
The System installer will plan and implement finance systems in pre opening hotels and any future upgrades in the finance system in the existing hotels.
To plan the implementation and upgrades of finance and accounting software (iScala) and its interface with the PMS, POS and other related software.
Technology and software’s continues to evolve over time, so it is necessary to be fully up-to-date with any changes to the program.
To ensure Hotel is in compliance with all the standard set up on the Chart of Accounts and other initial set up
To plan for the resources and support team to be used for support during installation.
To liaise with the vendors on installation schedule and ensure all requirements are completed before they arrive on site
To plan and impart the training of users on the system
To ensure a smooth “Go-Live” and ensure all data flow is thoroughly checked and is timely reported
To conduct a review of set up before the system is handed over to the hotel’s operation team.
To actively communicate with all operations department at the respective hotel to ensure that the standards for initial set up are being adhered to.
To continue to read and be updated on Hyatt’s Finance Policies & Procedures as published on Hyatt Connect.
To update Divisional Director of Finance during the course of the installations on any areas of concern.
To present a final installation report to the respective Director of Finance and the General Manager of the Hotel for their acknowledgment. Any open points for follow up needs to be documented along with Management Comments and their expected completion date. The final report is then submitted to the Divisional and Corporate office.
Work closely and motivate all employees so as to improve their Job and Personal performance.
Effectively communicates guiding principles and core values to all levels of employees.
Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.
Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.
Ensures that employees follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
Responsible for the invoicing of the System Installation time to the respective Hotels. This involves co-ordination with the Divisional Corporate Finance team.
Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established by the Divisional Office concerning fire, hygiene and health and safety.
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
Responds to changes in the Finance function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
