Executive Lean Leader – Intercontinental Region

Job Description Summary
Lead the lean transformation in the Intercontinental region – Japan, AKA (ASEAN, Korea, ANZ), India & South Asia and LATAM across all businesses and functions within GE Healthcare. An individual contributor role (or may lead a very small team), where you will be responsible for working with different businesses / plants / functional leaders to establish a customer-based process improvement strategy, which drives customer responsiveness, lead time reduction and quality improvement in line with business/functional objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

Support the GE Healthcare Lean Business System and Champion for lean Deployment to drive business growth, customer portfolios and waste elimination.
Partner with the President & CEO, GE Healthcare Intercontinental Region to lead Hoshin-Kanri process and execution, and be part of the formation team to make the Intercontinental Region as a value adding structure
Drive the commercial transformation, along with the Region & Sub Region CEOs, SBU leaders, and Functional Leaders to maximize the growth potential of this region.
Implement the Business System, including daily management metrics, review and problem-solving cadence and agenda, process to address KPI and CVD (core value drivers); implementing lean tools and training programs to enable PSP/action planning
Establish a lean competency program to shape the region: ensures the application of globally recognized standards for lean principles and practices, serves as a benchmark for achievements, provides a common roadmap for continuous improvement & workforce development
Develop capability across the spectrum from the tactical (deployment and application of principles, concepts and methods) to the strategic (a transformation that deeply impacts a key value stream)
Deployment of this Lean Business System must result in improved EBITDA (profitability), Free Cash Flow, market share growth and productivity
Committed to peer leadership and partnership – coach, and partner with the business leaders, functional leaders, Plant GMs and Site Lean Leaders in development of Lean Strategy
Develop Lean Culture and Increased lean awareness across GE Healthcare in Intercontinental Region
Develop and deliver Lean Training Plans
Qualifications/Requirements:

Proven experience as a Business Leader with a lean mindset, with a record of implementing significant changes in quantified results and culture changes with 10+ years of commercial experience.
Ability to respond and appreciate a diverse culture within different parts of the region
Thorough understanding of diversity principles, practices, and procedures, and measuring of diversity and cross-cultural resource initiatives for return on investment.
A clear thinker with the ability to deconstruct, reconstruct, and map the system.
Demonstrated Leadership experience, and to share best practices
Strong Influencing and coaching skills
Strong listening skills
Be able to demonstrate emotional resilience in the organisation
Good business acumen and horizontal collaboration capability
