Key Responsibilities:
Detention and Demurrage (D&D) and Value Added Services/Ad-Ons
1. Set right level of tariffs to optimize in the given market situations
2. Analyse the demand/supply situation on network capacity and market to set right level of free time
3. Set targets for Areas, Analyse & follow up and address performance + opportunities to further improve
4. Give input / feedback on global product portfolio and idea generation process.
5. Drive global products rollout in the respective areas to get best in class customer outcomes
6. Stay close to customers to understand supply chain needs and provide alternate solutions/services
Surcharges
1. Set market relevant tariffs to maximize revenue on surcharges
2. Identify project/initiatives to avoid revenue leakages
3. Serve as an in-house expert for our surcharges and go-to person for all functional issues
4. Continuously look for opportunities to improve local and global portfolio of surcharges
Who we are looking for
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar commercial role
Good understanding of end-to-end shipping and logistics business
Passion for creating real value for customers
Strategic mindset with ability to Zoom in/out
Capable of identifying new business opportunities and drives growth
Strong analytical and governance skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills in complex cross functional set up
Positions dependent on partially achieving results through others (influence without authority)
Product development experience will be added advantage
