Job Summary.
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager you will have responsibility for the quotation of all Spares & Equipment’s as required by the customer and will utilize your collaboration skills in liaison with peers and key stakeholders to solve problems, improving performance to achieve business targets and customer satisfaction. As Operations Coordinator you will maximize sales revenue and demonstrate commitment to surpass internal and external customers’ expectations. Crucial to this role will be your ability to drive continual improvement processes working with various disciplines ensuring a smooth and timely transition from customer order to customer delivery. By enhancing the Operations Support process capabilities together with your exceptional appreciation of the customer deadlines you will have success in turning customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions in line with our business strategy
The Operations Coordinator must maintain a sound working relationship with other managers within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provision of quotations in a timely manner to our clients.
• Supply supportive information to customer enquiries.
• Following up quotations submitted on a regular basis.
• Assist if required with expediting overdue orders.
• Overview customer orders and report any delays to Supervisor.
• Processing orders into our system in a proactive manner to maintain output and performance indicator spreadsheets.
• Proactively work with purchasing to assist with the review of stock levels.
• Notify our clients of any delays in a courteous manner.
• Maintain and update CRM Systems.
• Actively promote HSE.
• Support adequately the whole region.
• Manage the implementation of company policies regarding compliance, timekeeping, holiday planning, performance reviews and disciplinary procedures.
• Promotion and implementation of training at all levels of our organization.
• To engage in any other activity within his / her capability as requested by line management.
• Ensure the highest standards of HSE.
• Fully accountable for Solids Control & Waste Management P&L account through-out the region.
• Ensure service quality is continually enhanced. Develop and motivate staff to ensure consistently high standards of performance and effectiveness.
• Responsible for the quotation of all Spares & Equipment as required by the customer and will utilize your collaboration skills in liaison with peers and key stakeholders to solve problems, improving performance to achieve business targets and customer satisfaction
• Ability to drive continual improvement processes working with various disciplines ensuring a smooth and timely transition from customer order to customer delivery

EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED:
(Education/No. of Years of Experience)

• 3-5 years of extensive experience of offshore and onshore drilling operations, activities, equipment and use of same.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
• Understanding of all NOV WSS products and services and how they can be best utilised.
• Experience on Managing operations of similar size and environments.
• Knowledge of the regions and local cultures of all operations within Africa.
• Full understanding of NOV policies and adhere to them at all times.
