Aufgabe
You will report to the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) directly. Therefore, your main responsibility will be to support the CFO with the day-to-day operational and administration work.
Verantwortung
Perform daily reconciliation of clients’ accounts versus counterparties accounts (cash and securities)
Manage incoming and outgoing cash transactions
Manage incoming and outgoing securities
Solve ad-hoc client issues independently with minimal guidance, by liaising with the back office at our headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland
Follow up on the Firm’s Swift communications
Create and follow up on requests made to IT solution providers for bugs and other issue
Follow up on transactional orderbooks
Assist in the bookkeeping for Qualified Investor Funds (“QIF”) funds and preparations of NAV
Follow up on any other tasks linked with administration services for QIF
Follow up on tests on any IT softwares
Create and document IT development requests for banking applications as well as any other requirements
Test applications before each new release or enhancement of the system
Handle special requests for the Firm
Provide support to the administration team when required
Work irregular working hours when required
Execute any other tasks given on time-to-time basisProfile
Minimum of three to five years of recent experience working in a bank or financial firm
Experience with financial operational systems and use of databases
Advanced user of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), experience with Pm1e and Finnova is a plus
The candidate must have an aptitude to work hard and an ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Problem solver and ability to work independently
Act with discretion regarding internal and or external confidential information; anticipate any technical problems
Must be able to find and recommend solutions for any IT or technical problems
Pro-active and dynamic; teamwork abilities
Ability to exercise judgement and take responsibility for decisions made
English speaker. French will be considered an asset
