Seargin is looking for a Workday Business Analyst
- Position: Workday Business Analyst

The main tasks for Workday Business Analyst will be:
- Translating business needs into integration customization requirements (or new integration project specifications)
- Offering technical solutions to our business needs related to PeopleDoc integration enhancements
- Providing insight into the consequences of data changes / data selection and advise on the next technical steps
- Providing an estimate of workload and shift time
- Supporting prioritization of user stories (provide information on feasibility, manual bypass options for delivery, etc.)
- Identifying if any compliance or training documents require revision and initiate them
- Recognizing when PSS (project team) support is needed, e.g. by providing test data or a testing effort, and initiate this discussion
- Understanding what appears in an integration event (e.g. tell what error it is – most of the error types are known arealy we have an inventory) – the ones that cannot be explained shall be forwarded to a developer to analyze
The Candidate should have:
- Ability to:
- ‘translate’, to communicate between IT and business functions, as well as to draw conclusions, pay attention to impacts, risks, options, ask for requirements and technical details, feasibility from multiple points of view, etc.
- identify which report is needed and run it for data analysis purposes (less than basic knowledge needed)
- test Business Process events in Workday (e.g.Hire, Job Change (all subtypes), Pers Data change, Rescind/Correct, IA related changes etc.)
- Knowledge of documentation:
- SRA / DCR, functional specification, several handouts / guides for administrators, change requests, user history
- Knowledge / hard skills of:
- Workday Core master data (~30-40 data fields and how they are maintained for different data populations) (basic knowledge)
- Years of experience with working day reports and calculated fields (basic + calculated level)
- Workday business process configuration skills (less than basic level needed)
- Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
- Great English skills (written and spoken)
It would be a plus if the Candidate had:
- Knowledge of:
- basic Mulesoft integration principles (Worker and Org API)d
- Data field mapping activities (MongoDB)
