Position: Operations Manager
Location: Dubai

Dubai Hills Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Operations Manager. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for all golf operations & facility standards in line with the Troon Golf Operating Procedures.
• Assists in the coordination of department members that may include but is not limited to:
Golf Operations Team (21), Golf Academy (3), facility maintenance (4) and tenants (2).
• Accountable for overall profitability of IBU, with the help of the Cluster Director of Golf & Cluster Director of Agronomy.
• Accountable for the development and day to day tracking of the budget, forecast and business plan. Helps to control expenses in relation to revenues and reviews the P&L each month.
• Manages the tenants on a day-to-day basis.
• Accountable to present financial and non-financial information to ownership.
• Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses
• Accountable for ensuring the facility maintenance team carries out asset mystery shopper related duties in timely manner.
• Assists managers in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to their department.
• Accountable for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining associates (direct reports).
• Accountable for addressing complaints and resolving problems related to their respective area.
• Creates a customer service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the members. Ensures that associates provide a high level of customer service.
• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Conducts staff meetings with subordinates.
Other Qualifications / Experience:
• Previous experience managing a department at a Troon-managed facility preferred but not essential.
• Preferably a member of any PGA and / or CMAE.
• Experience with computerized POS, MS Office & tee time booking system.
